New Belly Pics - 35 weeks!

hot mama riding a bike! LOL

Here I am at 34-35 weeks - preggo at the beach. Cute look.

All continues to go well. Was at the beach for part of last week (hubby and B stayed for a full week) and it was soooo fun. Though the plane ride gave me some swollen ankles!

Had a dr appt last week upon my return - we had the VBAC vs repeat C-Section talk - risks, benefits, informed consent, etc.... It was an interesting convo. Things in my favor - I wasn't late with B (2 days past the official guess date), I went in to spontaneous labor, my water broke on its own, I fully effaced, I dilated to a 6+, this baby is head down for sure, I am low risk, I am exercising, I hired a doula, and I am practicing much more intentional relaxation. Those things combined make both me and my dr very comfortable with my choice. Of course, with a VBAC, induction is not an option, not that I want to be induced, but we both have a feeling (and a mother's instinct is usually right on!) that I will go early and fast. She agreed to let me go to at least 41 weeks if need be, but we will probably start stripping my membranes prior to that. We'll just see. Also with VBACs the preference is continuous fetal monitoring, but I am opposed to that, so we may make a compromise depending on the situation - and now, with advanced technology, there is a CFM that allows you to move around without being connected to a pole, thanks to radio waves!

On the weekly visit circuit now. This week doula and hubby are coming to dr appt. Will review birth plan, discuss hypnobabies, and just make sure we are all on the same page. I love my birth team. My mom is going to be involved as well so I will bring her up to speed when I see her this weekend (for her big 60!!!!!).

hypnobabies study continues to go well - in maintenance mode right now. Really looking forward to putting it all in to practice!

Feeling absolutely WONDERFUL which is great. Feeling large and in charge, which is also great! Hard to believe we are in countdown mode!
