Yesterday we went in for an ultrasound to 1. Verify Baby's Position and 2. Verify Baby's Sex.

Check and Check!

Head down (though there is still potential for a flipper but I am visualizing a head down baby, and doing lots of ball sitting and squatting. I need this baby to engage in about 3 weeks so we are ready for the big day in late June/early July!).

And Girl! Yes! According to the dr, "I see the labia". Nice.

Honestly I thought the ultrasound would be much more exciting since she is much bigger, but not really. Since she was head down and posterior, all you could see was the back of her head. And true to form, she moved the entire time (which is pretty much all the time every day!) so I could hardly see her little legs and arms. Heartbeat was nice and strong too!

increased appetite

Yikes - I am SOOO hungry in the past 24 hours! Last night, despite a late lunch I ate TWO HEAPING helpings of my husbands cajun chicken pasta (yummy - so good!) and a little more later in the evening, and now this morning, despite a normal breakfast (English muffin w/ jam), and a snack (granola bar), I had to pull out my afternoon snack b/c I was feeling faint! We must be having a growth spurt!

almost 32 weeks

Had another DR appt today - it went well. We are going to schedule an ultrasound soon to verify the baby's positioning, but Dr. G thinks she is head down - but Brennan threw us for a loop, so it will make both of us feel better to verify. Weight gain is on par - back on track with where I was with Brennan actually! Bring it on! :) Feeling great - went to the chiropractor yesterday and she is helping me work out my nerve pain which is the front of leg - helps so much! Meeting with my doula again tonight so she can meet PJ - yay! Moving in to my last week of study with hypnobabies as well - then I just do my maintenance program until she arrives. Hard to believe I only have 8 weeks to go. Man - time flies!
