Ultrasound scheduled!

Okay - Feb 19th we find out the gender - took a while to get it scheduled, but YAY - soon enough we will know (though doesn't that seem like SOOO far away?). And how much do I LOVE the OB Resource Nurse at the Family Practice? She scheduled me out thru May! So all I have to worry about is the weekly appts in June, which we will schedule come April! Love them.

So don't know if I am imagining this or not, but the tenderness while nursing is subsiding, I think. Wishful thinking b/c I want so much for our nursing relationship to continue? Maybe..... Though I have to admit I am slightly encouraging the weaning process - not b/c I don't want B to continue, but b/c since it does hurt sometimes, I can't bear the thought of nursing sometimes! We just roll with it depending on the day. :)

maternity pants

So over the holidays I moved into Maternity Jeans, but my work pants still fit, until this morning - then not so much. And I don't even know if they would have buttoned (doubt it) b/c the two pairs I tried on were a little tight in the hips........... not so cute. :)

Doing flips in my belly!

I can feel little Baby McCool moving all around - I noticed it a day or two ago, but wasn't really sure, though this morning, I am 100% sure of what I am feeling. It is so great to feel those little flutters and bumps and such!

Finally - Belly Pic #1

15 weeks and 3 days...

This time, only two Bs are getting bigger (not including my little B-Man!), though I wish the third B would too!



And for a comparison, here is how I looked with B-Man at about 4 months.

Very different.....all three Bs were much bigger (okay, if you haven't figured it out, Belly, Butt, Boobs). I think I was about 5+ pounds heavier at this point, if not 10!

But I looked preggo, and now I just look chunky I think. Oh well, all for the baby, though seeing that ice cream has become my favorite after dinner snack, it may not be surprising that my belly has an extra layer...

15 week update

It's official - I have started gaining weight - and not just a little. I went from gaining NOTHING to gaining 6 pounds in the past month! Dr. G had a hard time pinning down the little booger today too - he (let's just assume for now) was all over the place - as soon as she found the heartbeat, he was running to the other side of my belly. Cat and Mouse game in full force!

Dr. G gave me the name of 2 doulas to contact as well - both come highly recommended from her staff!
