29 week belly pic

Here I am at 29, almost 30 weeks! I cannot believe that the countdown to BBM is almost in single digits!

Doing well - though sometimes I feel great and sometimes I am just so exhausted. I went to the doctor last week and things are progressing well. I know my belly may look huge, but it is the exact amount of centimeters that I am weeks - perfect! Heartbeat sounds good as well. I have a slight doctor dilemma right now though - my regular doc is still on maternity leave and just extended her leave. My other doctor is about to go on paternity leave. Of course, there is a 2-3 week window that they are both gone and right in the middle of that I am supposed to visit the doctor! I called to see what I should do and the doctors are discussing it. They take care of me - I love it!

The house is moving along well - still have lots to do, but excited to move in - in just two weeks! Before we move though, we are headed for a nice long weekend to Naples, FL. Love it - I am going to squeeze myself into my regular bikini as well - good thing the house we are staying in has a private pool!!!!!! No need to spend $ for a suit that I will only wear for a few days.

The baby is moving lots - it is neat, more than just a jerk or poke here and there, sometimes there are fluid movements along my stomach - it is neat to watch! Of course, it only seems to happen when no one else is around, or maybe that's when I am really paying attention.

Project #1 when we move into the house - prepare the nursery and pack the hospital bag!

So tired

Is it normal to be so exhausted? I feel like I did in the first trimester - I am ready to lay down on my floor and take a nap! And it is only 11am!!!!!! I go to bed early - about 9:30pm, and don't get up until 6am, and am still ready to fall over anywhere and sleep! Guess I better stock up now - once BBM comes I won't be getting much sleep at all!!!!!

Feeling great!

PJ and I had our last Bradley class last night. I am really glad that we took it - it ended up being a great experience and I feel like we learned so much - and of course, are really prepared for the birth - and some of the things to expect afterward!

I am feeling much better - 12 weeks to go! Now that my back pain has subsided (thanks to the ergonomic department at the university!) - I am much more comfortable. Of course, with all the extra frontal weight, my back is usually sore, but with the pelvic rocks, I can keep it under control.

Busy season at work has begun - Orientation season! That means really long days and lots of talking - resulting in me going to bed even earlier!

The new house is coming along - PJ is continuing to paint and it looks great. I did a lot of yard work last weekend - just cleaning out the beds, which was quite a task. I only did the front and side yard. This weekend, I'll attack the backyard, which is going to be quite the task. Dad and Debbie are coming to help refinish the floors this weekend as well - looking forward to that.

Pictures coming this weekend! I cannot believe I am in the third trimester - 12 weeks to go - but I am excited about what the next 12 weeks will bring. Seems like it is baby season. Two friends had babies in the past month or so. Lots more friends are preggers! What's in the water in the midwest?
